  • Bittersweet Memories

Today is a day of bittersweet memories for me.  I'll probably never forget this time in my life.

I was very happy the day I got married to my wonderful husband, but also sad at the same time.  My sister had just gone through something that I don't think any woman should have to go through, the loss of a baby.

Now, it seems it is happening again.  I am very happy about the soon coming births of my niece and nephew, but my friend is going through the loss of a baby.

I'll never question God because I know His ways are far above my own and I'll never understand why.

I'm just trusting Him to bring my friend through this just as He did my sister.

He's an awesome God and His arms are the most capable in comforting and overcoming.

Pastor has been teaching a lesson on the steps to Overcoming Disappointments or Discouragment.  One of the most important steps is to not isolate yourself.  Another is that is okay to cry, but talk to God when your through crying.  Another one is to get up and do something and another is to serve someone.  I'm sure that's not all of them, but that's what I remember and its very good.

About Me

  • I serve the Most Awesome One TRUE GOD. I am married to the greatest man on earth, Chad Epley. I have the best family in the world. My life consists of trying to get our house in order, church, work, and family. I have 1 husband, 3 sisters, 2 bro-in-laws, 1 niece(the cutest little lady in the World), and of course 2 parents. My husband and I like to get involved in church activities. I assist in coaching our Bible Quiz Team at church. My husband and I teach the Youth Sunday School class. I'm involved in the Children's Ministry. I love my family and I love my church. I like my job at times, but it can get tedious especially around the end of the month or when I find employee errors (I hate that). That about sums up my current life. Never know what God has in store for my future, but I know its gotta be a bright one. :)
